We were lucky enough to stay at the Taveuni Island Resort and Spa for 14 blissful days (plus 2 nights at the Hilton on Denaru Island in Nadi).
Taveuni Island is about one and a half hours flight from Nadi and is well worth the ride in that little plane!
Oh, and the view is spectacular!
After being met at the airport by resort owner, the lovely Do, we made the quick trip to the resort to be greeted by our luxurious honeymoon bure- the Veidomoni. 
The bure was fabulous; huge bedroom, spacious living area, patio with comfy daybeds, 2 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower however absolutely nothing could compete with the view!!

With only 8 bures at the resort we often had the pool to ourself.
3 course meals, 3 times a day, afternoon naps and cocktail hour starting about 4 'o clock- the perfect holiday!
