Monday's Muse: A 'Great Gatsby' Inspired Wedding

Inspired by the glamorous themes of F. Scott Fitzgerald's celebrated novel, The Great Gatsby, Sara Riff- Director of Entertainment Relations for Jimmy Choo worked with her wedding planner to create a lavish Summer party in the gardens of a private home, reminiscent Gatsby's parties in the "Jazz-Age" of the 1920's.

Riff wears a chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown, accessorised with a jewelled belt and blusher veil.

Vintage diamond jewellery complemented the 1920's theme.

Bridal shoes were peep-toe Jimmy Choo's (of course) and are complemented so beautifully in the shot below, photographed on a chair with inlaid bone. A continuation of the decadent themes.

"The expansive lawn is reminiscent of Gatsby get-togethers" says Riff. Elegant all white tablecloths and market umbrellas are complemented by decadent table-settings; silver rimmed dinnerware and mother of pearl tableware.
The simple white orchids and hydrangeas are opulently displayed in silverware polished to a mirror finish.

The groom in a Zegna tuxedo, Armani bow-tie and custom made shirt.

A sumptuous dessert laid out under a glittering art-deco chandelier awaited guests as a refreshment after dinner and dancing.
