Monday's Muse: Fleur Wood

Tomorrow Australian fashion designer Fleur Wood and husband Nick Bryant will celebrate their first wedding anniversary. The couple were married in Galle, Sri Lanka at the luxurious Amangalla resort. (the image above top right is a bathroom! I thought it was a spa)Seventy guests from all of the word celebrated with Nick and Fleur for five days.

Festivities included a parties on the Friday and Saturday nights, a Sunday picnic near tea plantations followed by boys' and girls' drinks.

The wedding was held on the Monday with a recovery brunch on the Tuesday.

Fleur recreated her ceremony gown from a 1950's wedding dress and later changed into a 'party' dress for the reception.

Festive tuk-tuks and cart-bearing elephants provided transport around the villiage much to the enthusiasm of the locals
