A-Z of Valentines Day

With a name like Amour Amour, I had to celebrate Valentines Day! in its honour I have compliled an A-Z of Valentines Day... 26 ideas, trivia and bits and pieces... enjoy!

A is for Amour
French for love.

B is for Basket of Gifts
Create a basket of your partners favourite things for a truly personal gesture. Fill the basket with the little bits and piec
es you know he will love but maybe wouldn't normally get as a gift; golf balls, beer, his favourite spirit, CD's or an I-Tunes voucher.

C is for Chocolate
Seriously, there is no better gift than chocolate. Ever. Try Haigh's if you haven't already.
D is for Dining out
Sometimes it's easy to get into a rut of staying home, just getting take-away or going to the same local restaurants. Use Valentine's Day to dine out somewhere special! It's hard to beat the view at Cafe Sydney.

K is for Kisses Be generous with them!

N is for Newspapers
Declare your love to the world with a special message in your local paper

O is for Oudoors
Grab a rug, pack a basket of yummy food (think cheese platter, fresh fruit and chocolates) and head to your local park or nature reserve for a day outside.

P is for Pamper

Spend the day (or night) with each other, really with each other. Don't talk about work or the kids if you have any.

Some stories claim he was a priest who was put to death by Emperor Claudius II for performing secret marriages for young couples during the third century in Rome. Other stories suggest he sent the first 'valentine's greeting' to a woman he fell in love with while in prison.
